For a little over two decades, the Zuni Pueblo people fought to protect their beloved Salt Lake. In this unit, students will gain an understanding about this complex struggle as they analyze Zuni perspectives on Salt Lake, viewing it as more than a landmark with the use of metaphor, personification, and analogy.
