Students can identify geometric shapes and structures in their community and categorize the figures according to similar properties, which may include areas of farming, homes, sidewalks, etc.

Who are the Pueblo People?

This Unit utilizes mapping and storytelling as a means for introducing students to the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico to develop an awareness of the interrelationship between Pueblo peoples of New Mexico, socially, culturally and economically.
